Waveonics is a small company based in central Massachusetts, owned and operated by a single family. Combined, we have over 50 years of experience in the technology industry, and love finding new and innovative projects to pursue. We have a passion for both problem solving and design.

Our Team

Blake Nelson

Founder, CEO, and Lead Engineer – Blake Nelson is a computer scientist and software engineer with 35 years of entrepreneurial, private, defense, and academic experience. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts and Masters of Science in Computer Science from Boston University. Blake is the founder and owner of Waveonics, LLC, a small software development and consulting firm addressing the intersection of mobile applications and crowdsourced data. Blake is also an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Systems Engineering for Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), a top ranked, tier-one engineering university in Worcester, MA.

Halliday Nelson

Web Developer and Social Media Manager – Halliday Nelson has been designing and developing websites and their necessary graphics for over 15 years, having started in her early teens. She is fluent in all markup languages, and is an expert in content management systems. With a degree in Business Administration & Marketing, as well as additional education in Creative Writing, she is able to create compelling content that puts you and your business in the best possible light. She is capable of designing and integrating all aspects of a web presence, which is essential for any organization in this digital age.
